PUZZLE RACE

It's ALWAYS Halloween, and it’s time to test your puzzling skills at our Nightmare Before Christmas Puzzle Race at Wicked Axe! Gather your team of up to four spirited souls and dive into a spooky 300-piece puzzle inspired by Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and the rest of Halloween Town. You’ll be racing against the clock (and each other) to see who can stitch this frightful masterpiece together first.
Two eerie prizes await: one for the first team to complete the border (because every haunting begins with the frame) and another for the first team to finish the entire puzzle and claim the crown of Pumpkin King. Win or lose, every team gets to keep their puzzle as a souvenir from a night of ghoulish fun.
All teams will be working on the same chilling puzzle—no tricks, only treats—so it’s a fair fright-filled showdown of focus, speed, and fandom. Tickets are $40 per team, so summon your creepiest crew, don your Halloween Town best, and join us for an evening where the only thing scarier than Oogie Boogie’s dice is running out of time. The question is—will your team reign supreme, or will your pieces scatter into the shadows?

This 18+ event, hosted by Inebri-Art at Wicked Axe, invites adventurers of all experience levels to a one-of-a-kind Dungeons & Dragons night where immersive storytelling, strategic gameplay, and axe throwing collide. Players will choose from curated characters, learn the basics of the game, and embark on a short, action-packed custom adventure where axe throwing directly influences challenges, combat, and key story moments. All materials are provided—including a free set of dice with each ticket—though personal dice are welcome. Seating begins at 5:30pm with time to eat, drink, and prepare before the journey begins, and space is limited, so secure your spot before this epic tale unfolds without you.
