Q: Is a reservation required to come to Wicked Axe?

A: No! We heavily encourage axe throwing and golf simulator reservations in advance so we can be sure to accommodate you. We do book up early on the weekends, so check out our Reservations tab to book an experience! You are always welcome to stop by during open hours for food, beverage, or any of our assortment of other games, such as ping pong, cornhole, darts, or pool.

Q: Is there an age requirement?

A: Our venue age requirement is 18+.

Q: What is axe throwing?

A: We throw hatchets while standing 15’ from the target. Think of it as similar to darts or bowling.

Q: Can I come and not throw axes?

A: Absolutely! We have a state-of-the-art golf simulator from aboutGOLF, darts, pool, cornhole, ping pong, full restaurant, full bar, and comfort furniture to make you feel at home.

Q: Is axe throwing safe?

A: Axe throwing is a very safe sport with no major injuries reported. As a proud member of the International Axe Throwing Federation, safety is our number one priority. You will have a coach with your group at all times for safety, instruction, and gameplay.

Q: Is axe throwing hard?

A: Axe throwing is pretty accessible, and with assistance from our well-trained coaches, you’ll be sticking in no time!

Q: How much does axe throwing cost?

A: It depends on the size of your group. If you have 1-3 people, it is $30 per person for a 40 minute session, 4-6 people is $35 per person for a 75 minute session, 7-12 people is $40 per person for a 135 minute session, and 13-24 people is $40 a person for 135 minutes with four targets. There is an automatic 18% gratuity applied to any group of 13 or more.

Q: Can I bring my own axe?

A: No, unless you’re a league member.

Q: What should I wear for axe throwing?

A: Whatever is comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement, but we do require closed-toed shoes.

Q: Can I eat or drink while throwing or using the golf simulator?

A: You will receive service at your bay (or at the golf simulator) for food and beverage and can definitely eat and drink at the bays/golf simulator, but not in the bays/golf simulator.

Q: Can I have a private party at Wicked Axe?

A: Yes, email guestservices@wicked-axe.com to coordinate your private party.
